All right, this is perhaps the coolest,
0:04
most engaging, and highest paying new ad
0:07
format for format that I've seen yet.
0:10
ESOIC just released it, and you
0:12
definitely need to check it out. I'll
0:14
scroll up here. It's called rewarded ads
0:17
or gated content ads. Now, just to give
0:21
an idea on how this works, I'm going to
0:24
click one or two of these boxes down
0:27
here. Now, think about it like this. If
0:29
you have any content on your site
0:32
whatsoever that's premium or something
0:36
that people want to gain access to, then
0:39
you can use this ad format to trigger so
0:42
that they can then essentially become
0:45
rewarded with the content. So, for
0:47
example, let's say someone wants to over
0:50
here in the top left box reveal the
0:53
contact information for John Smith.
0:55
They'll click reveal
0:58
and add will show and then the
1:01
information will reveal. So this can be
1:04
applied to exclusive content. It can be
1:07
applied to contact information like
1:10
this. It can be even applied in games.
1:13
Um so think about your site and how you
1:16
can apply it. Um because when users
1:19
engage with it,
1:21
the advertisers will pay you a very high
1:24
CPM.
1:25
Now, with any Zoix dashboard, there's
1:27
quite a few different ways that you can
1:29
integrate it. I'll show you a basic
1:32
example. And then the easier way to do
1:35
that, um, so first, if you have any
1:37
content that you want to lock behind
1:39
this sort of payw wall, you would go
1:42
here towards content lock under the
1:44
rewarded ad section. Scroll down. Uh,
1:47
you'll see an example of it. And what
1:49
you want to do is copy this code, this
1:52
JavaScript, and put it in the header of
1:54
your site.
1:57
And then what you want to do is copy
2:00
this small script and put it in the
2:03
HTML. So, for example, if it's a button
2:06
that a user has to click, this is where
2:09
you would add that script.
2:13
I'm going to show you a quick example of
2:15
that here on this site. here. You want
2:17
to claim this blogging blueprint. Click
2:20
the button.
2:22
Ad loads up
2:26
for you. It's a 5-second ad.
2:32
Once that ad is done, the additional
2:35
content will become unlocked, gaining
2:38
access to that. Now, something that I
2:41
would like to note here is
2:44
this ad format can be used
2:47
independently from any other ads on the
2:50
site or it can be used with all of your
2:52
other EOIC ads. Um, so definitely give
2:55
this a shot. An easier way but perhaps
2:58
less effective way to implement it is if
3:01
you go to your settings, you can
3:03
actually enable this automatically. So
3:05
rather than a user taking a specific
3:07
action like clicking a button to show an
3:10
ad and then get the content, you could
3:13
enable this and say, "Okay, after three
3:16
page views, the rewarded ad will trigger
3:19
to allow this user to continue browsing
3:22
my site and accessing my content for
3:25
free." Um, so check out this rewarded ad
3:29
unit. Turn it on, especially with Q4
3:31
around the corner, and you could see
3:33
your earnings go higher than they ever
3:36
have before.
